HISTORIC ORIGINS
The Bowery table pays homage to the 1890–1905 table in the American Wing of The Metropolitan Museum of Art, designed by Louis C. Tiffany (American, 1848–1933) for Tiffany Studios.

The original aesthetically evokes the folding stands of ancient Greece and Rome, as well as Middle Eastern patterns evident in its tapered legs. Furniture created by Tiffany Studios is among the most eclectic and innovative designs of the turn of the 20th century, combining artistic craftsmanship, cultural inspiration, and exceptional craftsmanship.
