EichholtzThe Sahure wall lamp by Eichholtz is a unique blend of ancient art and contemporary design. The lamp's design was inspired by a monumental Egyptian palm column from the time of Pharaoh Sahure (c. 2458–2446 BCE), currently in the collection of The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. The original column was one of sixteen surrounding the courtyard of the pharaoh's pyramid temple. Dimensions: W 19 cm | D 14 cm | H 51.5 cm
The shape of the wall lamp echoes the date palm leaf motifs decorating the museum's granite column. The layered structure of smoked glass combined with brushed brass gives the entire piece a sophisticated and timeless character. The Sahure wall lamp perfectly combines historical craftsmanship with modern elegance, creating a luxurious wall accent. It perfectly complements the Sahure chandelier, creating a cohesive and prestigious lighting set.
