Luce d’Oro lamp by Catellani & Smith

The Luce d’Oro lamp by Catellani & Smith was created as a result of Enzo Catellani's reflections on the color of light and its emotional impact. Inspired by the golden light of the sun and fire—warm, deep, and vibrant—it sparked the designer's further experiments with refraction and reflection. The lamp's centerpiece is a large aluminum disc finished with a metallic leaf, on which light subtly diffuses, creating a soft, indirect glow. The rugged waxed iron structure contrasts with the delicate shimmer of the reflective surface, lending the piece a refined, sculptural character. Luce d’Oro is perfect as atmospheric lighting for a living room or a formal space.
