HISTORIC PROVENANCE

The "Moon Jar" table lamp is inspired by an 18th-century Korean porcelain moon jar from the collection of The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. These distinctive vessels, created during the Joseon Dynasty (1392–1910), were distinguished by their gently rounded form and milky white color, symbolizing purity and harmony. They were made from two hand-joined pieces, giving them a unique, natural character.
