The Jackie O pendant lamp by Catellani & Smith is an iconic design by Enzo Catellani, commissioned by an architect seeking the ultimate in lightweight lighting above a large table. In pursuit of the "absolute zero" of form, the designer pioneered the use of an ultra-thin blue fabric-covered cable, which almost disappears into the space, leaving the light in the center.
The LED light source is housed in a nickel-plated copper spiral fixture with a replaceable glass lens, emitting warm light with a high CRI of 90. The lamp is available with a nickel-plated ceiling connector (JC) or a recessed mounting plate with tensioner (IC), allowing it to be used in modern architectural designs. Jackie O is perfect as a single accent light or in multi-light arrangements. Other mounting options are also available.
