Sorry Giotto lamp by Catellani&Smith

The Sorry Giotto lamp by Catellani & Smith is a tribute to the simplicity and purity of form. Enzo Catellani, striving to create the least invasive lighting object possible, drew on the motif of the perfect circle—a symbol of harmony and perfection. A slender ring of hand-painted copper in an intense blue is suspended in space by subtle wires, and the whole is complemented by a massive cast-iron base that acts as a counterweight. When turned on, the lamp emits a soft, warm light, highlighting the contours of the circle and giving it an almost cartoonish character. Sorry Giotto was honored with the MANIBUS® International Award for Contemporary Craftsmanship, confirming its exceptional, artisanal character.

Dimensions and variants: Ø 90 cm ring – 12 LED light points (12 W, 2700 K, 1680 lm) oraz Ø 120 cm ring – 15 LED light points (15 W, 2700 K, 2100 lm).
